Outland Renewable Energy Expands Geographically

Outland’s geographic expansion reflects its steady growth as a leading independent provider of wind energy services. Guymon’s location — in the Oklahoma panhandle near a significant number of existing and planned wind farms — enables Outland to provide services safely and efficiently to asset owners in the region. Outland account manager Tony Graham will lead the Guymon-based team. Graham is a resident of Guymon with more than ten years of wind industry experience. "I’m glad to be bringing green jobs to my hometown," said Graham.

In Outland’s first international work, Outland technicians travelled to Japan in late November to perform services. Said Outland account manager Matt Sundstrom, "I was proud to lead Outland’s first international team of technicians and I look forward to returning to Japan to perform more work there."

Outland technicians also travelled to Canada in late November to perform services for a large asset owner there. Noted Jeremy Krug, Outland’s Director of Operations, "Outland is excited to help its Canadian customers optimize their wind assets. Given Outland’s heritage in Minnesota, expanding across the border into Canada was a natural step."

Outland Renewable Energy is an ISO 9001:2008-certified leader in commissioning, operating, and maintaining wind energy facilities throughout the United States and abroad. Founded in 2005, Outland now has more than 125 service technicians and nearly 1,000 MW under service agreements. The company maintains its North American headquarters in Canby, Minnesota and has additional offices in Mendota Heights, Minnesota and Guymon, Oklahoma.
