Over 100 dealer representatives traveled from across the United States and from five countries to participate. The two-day event featured hands-on field training along with classroom curriculum that represented the most comprehensive training program offered by any small wind turbine manufacturer to date.

The event far exceeded everyone’s expectations.
"This event marks the beginning of WePOWER’s ongoing commitment toward building the most capable network of authorized dealers on a global scale," explained Howard Makler, WePOWER’s Executive Vice President. "By combining classroom with actual hands on field construction, our training program differentiates us from our competitors, and provides our authorized dealers with the knowledge and credentials necessary to ensure the highest quality sales and installation services for our customers," said Makler.
One of the dealers in attendance was Mark Little, President of Downlink Technologies, Inc. of Dallas, Texas. Mr. Little shared, "One very unique feature of WePOWER’s training seminar included a site visit to an actual customer location to participate in the assembly and construction of its Falcon 5.5kW VAWT. This brought about another unique training method, dealers communicating amongst themselves, offering tips and benefiting each other by sharing knowledge and tricks-of-the-trade." Little concluded, "WePOWER’s exemplarily resources were demonstrated equally in its products as in its management team."
WePOWER will host its next dealer-training seminar in March, in Palm Desert, California. For details of this upcoming seminar please contact WePOWER at (866) 385-WIND (9463) or firstname.lastname@example.org.
VAWT advantages: Vertical Axis Wind Turbines are the perfect solution for capturing wind energy in urban environments. They have no gears, few moving parts, are virtually silent and maintenance free, are not shut down by ice build-up, and most importantly have a much lower height requirement than traditional blade-style horizontal turbines.
VAWTs do not create a shadow or flicker effect, and are safe for birds and bats. The use of VAWTs to produce distributed energy also reduces both the need for long-scale electricity transmission and fossil-fuel-fired emissions that contribute to climate change and global warming. Installation of VAWTs provides points for the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED program and other certifications that reward green initiatives.
WePOWER’s mission is to create and deliver safe, clean and renewable energy solutions around the world, thereby reducing carbon emissions and protecting the environment. WePOWER’s best-in-class Vertical Axis Wind Turbines represent the most comprehensive family of products in the small wind industry.
WePOWER’s patented Windvertiser(TM) line features a method to display moving images on wind turbines including eco-graphics, corporate images and even logos to promote a Green Halo(TM) which visually communicates a commitment to help the environment.
WePOWER’s Falcon line includes: 600 W, 1.2kW, 3.4kW, 5.5kW and 12kW. WePOWER’s turbines are Approved by the California Energy Commission (CEC), on the list of commercially proven equipment providers by the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA), have received a CE and IEC 61400.2 Declaration of Conformity, and a UL 1741 Certificate of Compliance.
