Wind power in Iraq? – MainWind has announced that they completed the installation of 2 wind masts in Iraq

The Wind Resource Assessment Report will be made by Ecofys and the measurement equipment comes from Ekopower. After 4 months a first evaluation will be made by Ecofys and MainWind will start with ordering the wind turbines for 2 pilot wind farms of 5 MW each. In the meantime MainWind will continue with taking measurements in order to collect as much as possible wind data.
