The Industry and Trade Minister in Turkey, Nihat Ergun said that more incentives were needed so that the use of electric vehicles increased. Tax incentives could be used to help companies.

The object is to develop renewable energy projects based on wind power, hydroelectric, biomass, solar photovoltaic and solar thermal. Turkey had set a goal of 20,000 MW of electricity derived from wind energy.
