THEOLIA completes financing of 30 MW wind power project in Italy

Maestrale Green Energy, THEOLIA’s Italian subsidiary, announces the closing for the financing of a 30 megawatt (MW) wind energy project under construction in the province of Enna in Sicily.
The project’s construction started during the second half of 2009 and its commissioning is expected during the first half of 2010.
Carlo Durante, CEO of Maestrale Green Energy, said: “As a result of this successful financing and the confidence placed in our high quality skill-set, we will actively continue developing our pipeline in Italy. This project is in line with the Group’s strategy of focusing on its core wind markets, of which Italy is a key part in terms of opportunity and attractiveness”.
