India, 5th largest producer using wind power

All out efforts were being taken to make it an eco-friendly nation, the Minister said while launching the 2nd All India Educational Campaign on ‘Empowerment through Values and Spirituality’ and ‘Clean the Mind and Green the Earth’ campaign. Delhi Vidhan Sabha Speaker Yoganand Shastri presided over the function.

Planting a sapling to mark the occasion, Dr Abdullah said research was going on to create energy from sun, wind and other natural resources so as to ensure access to electricity at every door-step.

Organised by the Rajyoga Education and Research Foundation (Education Wing) and Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya, the campaign seeks to provide inspiration to students to develop their personality as well as social and spiritual values.

It was also aimed at educating students about the importance of eco-friendly steps to protect the environment and help them to get rid of bad habits, addictions and superstitious beliefs.
