Work on 2,000 MW wind power projects underway in Pakistan

The work on fifty wind power projects is underway at Gharo-Keti Bandar and Hyderabad wind corridor in Sindh having capacity of producing 2000 megawatts of the electricity.

Meanwhile, financial closing of 36 other such projects has almost been completed and these will be ready to be made operational by the end of next year.

2000 MW electricity will be added to the national grid after completion of these projects which will be helpful in meeting the national as well as provincial energy needs.
