Suzlon subsidiary Senvion has signed three new wind power contracts for UK onshore wind farm

Suzlon subsidiary Senvion has signed three new wind energy contracts for UK onshore wind power plants with a total capacity of 39MW with long-standing customers Energiekontor UK,  EDF Energy Renewables (EDF ER) and the Ventus Funds.
Energiekontor’s 16.4MW Gayton le Marsh wind farm in East Lindsey, Lincolnshire, will use eight MM92 wind turbines – the fifth contract Senvion has signed with Energiekontor in the UK.
Senvion says a 15-year operations and maintenance contract has also been signed.  It is planned that the wind turbines will be delivered to the site in September 2015 and the project will be handed over to the customer in May 2016.
EDF ER 12.3MW Rhodders wind farm in Clackmannanshire will comprise six Senvion MM82 wind turbines.  A two-year operations and maintenance agreement has also been confirmed.
Construction of Rhodders is due to start next summer and project handover completed by the end of August 2015.  Senvion has partnered with EDF ER on over 15 projects to date.
The 10.25MW Holton wind farm, developed by the Ventus Funds and managed by Temporis Capital LLP, to be located in Suffolk, will consist of five Senvion MM82 wind turbines.

 

Construction is due to start in spring 2015 and the project should be completed in early autumn 2015.
